Comunque qualche bel luccio sul Lough Erne principalmente con esca morta
Sempre col morto a Melview Lodge in Longford. John and James, guidati da Kevin hanno preso molti lucci su 90 cm e anche fino al metro, è per loro il catch of the week.
Poi, IFPAC ran their Interclub Competition con team di 4 pescatori vinto da Dun na Ri Angling Club!
Molte le barche ormai a riva, comunque Fiona Tee è uscito a Killibegs con qualche decente cattura.
Molto meglio la pesca dalla spiaggia con i Killybegs Mariners che hanno preso molte flounder e altre specie.
David Norman of West Cork Bass riporta che la pesca dei wrasse può continuare in novembre e dicembre specialmente con grossi lure o a mosca.
Inoltre the Irish Federation of Sea Anglers ha tenuto il Shore Master Angler competition. Trofeo prestigioso ed ambito vinto quest’anno da Northern club Glengormley & District SAC were definitely winners on the weekend, Bravi Glengormley!

Inland Fisheries Ireland ha sviluppato un importante nuovo strumento che utilizza le conoscenze ed esperienza dei pescatori per aiutare a conoscere i cambiamenti negli stocks di pesci marini. Il nuovo metodo si chiama ‘FLEKSI’ (‘Fisher’s Local Ecological Knowledge Surveillance Indicators’.
